Lutz. May 12, 1932, at 12:50 am, at the home of her son-in-law, Charles E West, near Lyles Station in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, Mrs. Eliza Lutz, who had reached the ripe age of 91 years. The deceased was born near Eola, Louisiana, and was a daughter of Zach Glaze. A number of years ago she resided near Lecompte with her husband, Mr. F W Lutz, who was engaged in farming pursuits at that time. The deceased had been in failing health for some five or six years and had spent a portion of the time with her daughter, Mrs. Monroe Lyles, at Norfleet, Arkansas. She was a kindly and well loved old lady who made friends of all with whom she came in contact. She leaves four daughters: Mrs. Frank Rials of Lecompte, Louisiana; Mrs. Monroe Lyles of Norfleet, Arkansas, Mrs. Charles E West of Lyles, Louisiana, and Mrs. S C Carroll, of Sour Lake, Texas. All of the children were with her at the time of her death. [3]
