Julia was born about 26 Jan 1905. She was the daughter of Bion Gleason and Lithuria Shaw. On 31 Dec 1923, she married Jay Bell in LaPorte, Indiana. Julia passed away on 5 Jun 1955 in New Buffalo, Berrien County, Michigan, and was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Berrien.
