Biography
Herbert may have been born about 1880. He married Mae "Maisie" Kelly. [1]
"Herb" Gleason was an insurance adjuster and the father of Clement and John Walton "Jackie" Gleason, Jr. Clement died at the age of fourteen, when Jackie was three. Herb deserted the family in 1925.
In 1942, when he registered for the draft, he was living in Red Hook, NY.
