Biography

Rebecca Glenn was born in 1800 in Georgia,[1] to Susannah (Womack) Glenn, age 24, and Clement Glenn, age 22.
Her father Clement passed away in January 1809 in Georgia at the age of 30, when she was 9 yrs old.
Rebecca Glenn married Overton Harris in Warren, Georgia, on March 10, 1816, when she was 16 years old.[2]
Her husband Overton passed away in about 1831, in Oglethorpe, Georgia, at the age of 38. His will was probated later in 1835 after she had remarried.[3]They had been married 15 years. They had seven children.
She married Blanton Franklyn Thornton on February 18, 1832, in Oglethorpe Co., Georgia,[4] when she was 32 years old. They had five children.
Rebecca Glenn died in about late 1850-1852.in Carroll, Georgia, when she was 50 years old.
