John Glenn was born about 1768 in Surry County, North Carolina. He was the son of Samuel Glenn and Elizabeth Morrow. John died about 1832 in Pleasantville, Marion County, Iowa.
Research Note: is it possible there were two John Porter Glenn's who died in 1832 - one in Iowa (md to Jane a Burris) and one in Arkansas (md to Abigail a Rogers)????? Majority of online trees have one profile with both marriages and both death places but don't seem to realize that the first wife, Abigail doesn't die until 1842 and Jane is supposed to be having kids in the early 1800s.
He married Abigail Rogers. Here is her Find A Grave
