Biography

William was born in 1761. He passed away in 1827. [1]

William Coleman Glenn was a member of a Continental Regiment from Cumberland County, Virginia in the American Revolution.

Inscription on his tombstone: "He was engaged in the Revolutionary Struggles for his Country. The morning sun begins the day, So soon the night passeth away. The weary seek for rest, And in slumbering, sleep and blest. Youth begins the man to rear, Age with trouble and with care. Death doth bring him to rest, And he in Christ are blest."
