Biography

John was born in 1889, the son of Albert Glover and Elizabeth Hastings.

John Wesley Glover was born on May 9, 1889, to Albert Glover, laborer, and Elizabeth Hastings, of Wiarton, Bruce County, Ontario.

He was married to Pearl Miller in 1911. Their marriage record reads:

John W. Glover, laborer, bachelor, 22, residing in Norwich, County of Oxford, son of Albert Glover, laborer, and Elizabeth Hastings,
Pearl Miller, spinster, 19, residing in the Town of Collingwood, daughter of Nathan Miller, caretaker, and Sarah Horton,
Witnesses: Henry Horton and Ethel Horton, of Collingwood,
On December 13, 1911, at the Town of Collingwood, in the County of Simcoe.

John died in 1955.

He and Martha Pearl were buried at Greenwood Cemetery[1], in Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario.
