Hannah (Glover) Gill was born in Skipton, Yorkshire, England.

Hannah was born about 1836 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England. According to information listed on her parish marriage registration, her father was George Glover, "Clothier". Mother is Sarah (maiden name unknown). Hannah married William Gill on December 9, 1856, in Bradford, Yorkshire, at Saint Peter Church (Bradford Cathedral). The couple would have at least seven children.

Hannah passed away on September 29, 1904, and was buried at Waltonwrays Cemetery and Skipton Crematorium, Skipton.
