In 1850, Charles was 13 years of age and living with his parents Henry W. (37 years, b. NY, occupation Farmer) and Eliza (33 years, b. NY) and siblings Jenette (12 years), Margaret (10 years), Henry (9 years), Marth (8 years), Lucy (7 years), Matilda (5 years), George (5 years) and William (2 years) at Troupsburg, Steuben, New York.[1]
By 1870, Charles (35 years) and wife Ruth (30 years) were residing at Fremont, Winona, Minnesota with their sons Henry (11 years), William (10 years), James (6 years) and Samuel (3 years).[2]
Marriage and Children
Charles married Ruth J. Morey, the daughter of Andrew and Clorinda (Schoonover) Morey in 1856 at New York. They had nine children:

According to the 1900 U.S. Census, Charles was 65 years of age, a widower, occupation Farming and residing and Fremont, Winona, Minnesota.[10]
In 1910, Charles was 74 years of age, widowed and retired from farming. He was living with his daughter Lucy (31 years), her husband Alvin Cameron (49 years, b. PA, occupation Farmer) and their children Zulema (12 years), Leona (8 years) and Charles (1 year) at Utica, Winona, Minnesota.[11]
Death and Burial
Charles Henry Glover died on 2 February 1915 in his 80th year at Fremont. [12]He is buried in the Fremont Scotch Cemetery at Winona County, Minnesota.[13]
