Biography

William Glover was born in 1678. William married Mary Norwood in 1705 in Virginia. He passed away in August 1752 and is buried in Northampton County, North Carolina in an unknown grave. [1] [2]

1705 --- Thomas Cotton being returned, arrested at the suite of William Glover, being called and not appearing nor no security returned judgement is therefore granted the said William Glover against Joseph John Jackson, Sheriff of this county for one pound, eighteen shillings to be confirmed at the next court, provided said Thomas Cotton does not appear and answer the said suite. -- Date: November 1705.[3]

1706 --- William Glover who was presented by the grandjury for breach of the Sabbath is discharged from thence without fees,[4]

July 1707 --- William Glover and Mary, his wife, plaintiffs against Lidia and George Norwood, defendants and executors to the estate of William Norwood, deceased. -- judge for six thousand five hundred of tobacco -- Date: July 1707-September 1707 .[6]
