Biography

William B. Glover was born April 26, 1832, in Coshocton, Ohio, son of Joel Glover and Elizabeth "Betsy" Shannon, and was baptized in the Presbyterian Church in Keene, Coshocton, Ohio on June 6, 1832.[1] He was one of fifteen children.

According to Todd James Dean, the Shannon Family researcher, William enlisted in the 21st Indiana in the heavy artillery service. During the siege of Port Huron, he was taken sick, and later died in his home in Coshocton on June 18, 1864. He was buried in Coshocton , Ohio, USA[2]
