Elam T. Goddard was born on 14 October 1883 in Morgan County, Tennessee. He passed away on 22 December 1958 in Drexel, Montgomery County, Ohio and is buried in Bear Creek Cemetery, Montgomery County.[1]
In 1910 Elam and wife Mollie were living in Morgan County, Tennessee. In their household were son Evan A Goddard (age 2), daughter Lynnes Goddard (age 6 months), and Elam's mother Mary Goddard who is listed as age 69 and divorced. Neither of the two children appear in the household of Elam and his second wife, Paralee, on the 1920 census.[2]
Marriage
Elam married Mollie Goddard on 7 August 1904 in Morgan County, Tennessee.[3] They had two children. Family story has that one of the children and Mollie died in a cholera epidemic about 1911.
Elam married second Mary Paralee Strutton on 14 Jan 1912 in Morgan County, Tennessee.[4] They had nine children.
