Joseph Edward Godfrey, was born on April 26, 1865, in Trenton, Ontario, Canada, his father, Phillip, was 46 and his mother, Mary, was 42. He married Charlotte Elizabeth Wayte on June 30, 1891, in Rochester, New York. They had four children in 12 years. He died on January 30, 1936, in Rochester, New York, at the age of 70, and was buried there.... ^[1]
