On February 19, 1763, he published his intention to marry Tabitha Sears, the daughter of Silas Sears and Elizabeth Nickerson[2], and they were married on May 12, in Yarmouth, Massachusetts[3]
Moses and Tabitha's marriage was also noted in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, where he appears among the first settlers of the township[4], and in Barrington[5]. However no children are noted in the Nova Scotia sources, and it seems that they moved back to New England before the outbreak of the American Revolution.
