Eunice Goding was the daughter of Peter Goding and Elizabeth (Lovewell) Goding of Jay, Maine (in Massachusetts until 1820).[1] Based on her age at her death, she was born about 1802.[2]Her parents were residents of Jay, Maine, at the time.[3][4]
Marriage
Eunice Goding married Thomas Philbrick.[1] In an undated entry, the town clerk of Livermore, Maine, certified that "an intention of marriage between Mr. Thomas Philbrick of Livermore and Miss Eunice Goding of Jay has been entered & published in the town of Livermore as the law directs." From its position in the records, The entry was probably made in 1822.[5] They married at Livermore on 5 Dec 1822.[6]
Death
Records in the Nathan Hale Cemetery Collection and the Faylene Hutton Cemetery Collection say that Eunice Philbrick died on 14 Aug 1825 at the age of 23 and is buried at the Village Cemetery in St. Albans, Maine.[2][7]
