DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Stephen by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.

Hello, looking for information on parens Phoebe Golden Burton (born June 12, 1859) and married William D Burton 1875 in Hamilton County Illinois. The marriage certificate states that her father is John Burton. Also, in her obit (she died 1925 in Dahlgren Illinois) it states that she is survived by 2 brothers: John Golden of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Ed Hall Golden of KY. There seems to be a lot of conflicting information. There is a John N Golden buried in Richardson Hill Cemetary in Dahlgren Illinois b. 22 December 1835 and d. 4 October 1863. Memorial ID 134499998. Family information provided states: S/O Dr. Stephen C Golden, Father of Edward Hall Golden, John T Golden and Steven Golden. Don't find this to match the birth dates I have for John T Golden as 1872 and Edward Hall Golden as1869. John N Golden died in 1863 according to his tombstone. Any information you have that might carify would be most appreciated. Carol Cook Thomas (great great granddaughter of Phoebe Ann Golden Burton.
Golden-813 and Golden-905 appear to represent the same person because: I have more of Stephen C. Golden's ancestors and relatives. I'm interested in Baily Brown who was an in-law.
