Lesley (Goldstein) Gore is Notable.

"The Queen of Teen Angst" according to Time Magazine. She's known for the hit songs, It's My Party (1963), and You Don't Own Me (1964). She was discovered by Quincy Jones.

Gore was nominated for an Academy Award along with her brother Michael Gore for songwriting for Out Here On My Own from the hit film Fame (1980).
