Moses Parker vs John Carter 1851, Bedford County. From other images viewed on Ancestry.com, it appears that Mary (Parker) Welch sold the land that was willed to Moses Parker, James Parker, Nancy Parker and Aaron Parker by James Urrey/Orrey/Orris to John Carter (wife, Sarah (Parker) Carter). Image 9 and 10 indicate that Sarah Parker and Catherine Parker Kerns are the only two legitimate heirs of Mary (Parker) Welch and Dominic Welch. Image 5 indicates that Aron Parker left Bedford area about 40 years prior to 1851 and was not heard from again.[24]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
I doubt very seriously that Mary was born in both Bedford County, Virginia and in England. I think the Northampton, England Record birth/baptismal record is for another Mary Parker. Perhaps somewhere in the past, two WikiTree profiles of a Mary Parker were merged improperly.
