Biography

Sarah was born about 1768. She is the daughter of Daniel Goode and Phebe Wright. She passed away in 1845.

Unknown Campbell was not the mother of Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Daniel C., Susanna, Joseph, Sarah (m. William Campbell, and Phebe.

Her mother was Phebe Wright the 2nd wife of Daniel Goode.

His SECOND wife was Phoebe Wright, this identification was made by a marriage record of her daughter, in which she signed as mother. Phebe Wright and Daniel Goode's kids are: Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Daniel C., Susanna, Joseph, Sarah (m. William Campbell, and Phebe. [1]


Marriage

Sarah Goode married William Campbell (1754–1836) on 12-22-1785, by Rev Benjamin Burgy of the Baptist Church, the license was filed at Amherst Co VA. Sarah was d/o Daniel Goode and Phoebe Wright. According to the research of Pat Carter, she recieved notification from the DAR in 2005, that their record for Daniel Goode. They had nine children:
-- Washington Campbell (1810–1831) married to Mary Thompson, d/o James Thompson, Sr and Elizabeth Stevens. (my 3rd great-grandparents)

Pension

She did not get it till sometime after Feb 2, 1848! Wm had been dead for 12 yrs bef she could even get his pension. She did recieve $236.05 in back payments in 1848.
