Biography

George Godden was baptised in Ewhurst, Sussex on 2 March 1800. He was the son of Thomas Godden & Hannah Copper.^[1]

George Godding married Harriet Pearson in Ewhurst, Sussex on 14 October 1825.^[2]

George and Harriet emigrated to Australia aboard the "Susan", arriving in New South Wales on 10 March 1839.^[3]
