The 1881 Census has 6 year old Frank with his parents and a sister in the Ipswich St Margaret, Suffolk parish. [2]
1891 found Frank as a 16 year old shoe finisher living with his parents on Williams Street in Ipswich. [3]
He was named as the father of Frances Victoria Woodgate in the Divorce Decree of Amy Abbot Woodgate and Bertie Woodgate. Frank was present at the court for the hearing with his Solicitor.[4]
The 1911 Census found Frank in "The Thatched House", a pub in Hammersmith, London, His occupation is not shown on the transcription [5]
Frank served in WWI - He had signed up with the Army, aged 25, on 10 Mar 1900 in the Royal Army Medical Corps. The documents show that he had been active with the Ipswich R.V. prior to attestation. Charles' service number was 13561. A private in the RAMC reg#30770, entering France on Sept 5, 1915. [6]
The 1921 Census shows that Frank was in Kensington.
