Christopher was born in 1846. He is the son of Vivian Goodloe and Harriet Williamson. He married Genevieve E. Follette in 1883 in Rock Island, Illinois. Christopher fought in the Civil War in the 24th Ohio Infantry. Christopher died in 1900.
