Biography

Isaac Goodnight married Rhoda in about 1848. He is buried in Goodnight Family Cemetery in Three Forks, Kentucky.[1]

Isaac Goodnight, the son of Hans Michael Gutknecht and Mary Landers was born January 1, 1782, in Harlan’s Station, Mercer County, Kentucky. He married (1) Elizabeth McMurray, August 25, 1805, in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He married (2) Mary Ground, January 24, 1828 in Warren County, Kentucky. Both are buried in Goodnight Cemetery, Warren County, Kentucky. He married (3) Rhoda Gadberry, May 7, 1848 in Barren County, Kentucky. He married (4) Frances Dickerson, September 4, 1862 in Warren County, Kentucky. Isaac Goodnight died October 14, 1869, and both were buried in Goodnight Cemetery, Warren County, Kentucky.
