Biography

Elizabeth (Betsey) Goodnight was born in December 1823 in Tennessee, her father, Henry, was 45 and her mother, Mary, was 29. She married Warren Burgess and they had four children together. She then married Richard Gray in 1875 in Arkansas. She died in 1916 in Timbo, Arkansas, at the impressive age of 93, and was buried in Mountain View, Arkansas.
