DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
Goodrich-8108 and Goodrich-322 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents and birth record. There are 2 Find A Graves for what appear to be the same person with different death dates.
I can't remember if I made a suggestion to FAGM, but it's not in my edit suggestions log. I'm not seeing a memorial for Scranton now. only Rose. I think there is still a problem with what should be 2 Elizabeth Goodrich profiles one married Joseph Scranton and another married Daniel Rose. May have been premature in merging. Notice there is a mixture of Rose children and Scranton children with alternating birth dates. That doesn't make sense.
Thank you, M. Cole and GenJ X, for your comments. I adopted this profile. She would be a great grand aunt to me, if she was William's daughter. I'm not finding anything for an Elizabeth Goodridge or Goodrich, born in the relevant time frame with a father named Willliam. I do find a birth record and Find a Grave for an Elizabeth Goodrich, daughter of John Goodrich Jr. the Wethersfield, CT. settler. Without any links or sources to William, I'm inclined to replace her parents with those indicated in what I've found. Opinions? TIA

I think that makes sense. My guess is that she was introduced into someone's gedcom when there was some confusion between the Watertown and Wethersfield men, and then the date adjusted to fit his timeline better.
Is there any source that indicates William Goodrich of Watertown had a daughter Elizabeth. I can find no record, and she doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the published genealogies of the family. Maybe there was some confusion with the Goodrich families from Connecticut.
