J.H. GOODRICH DIES AT DAYTON
Death Ends Long Life in County at 83
John Henry Goodrich died Thursday at his home in Dayton at the age of 83 years.
He had made his home in Dayton for the past 55 years. He was born in Oregon June 19, 1856, to William and Sarah Goodrich.
November 19, 1885, he was married in Dayton. Mrs. Goodrich survives him.
Mr. Goodrich was a member of the Presbyterian church and of Woodmen of the World.
He is survived besides his wife, by two sons, Owen D. Goodrich, Dayton; Basil W. Goodrich, Dallas; one daughter, Miss Sarah Goodrich, Dayton; and one brother, Wallace Goodrich, Dayton.
Funeral services were held from the Macy chapel Saturday, the Rev. C.C. Barnes officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Dayton.
