Background

Margaret Amy Goodson, known as Amy, was born on 23 January 1891.

1901 British Census

In the 1901 British Census, of Hill House, Carshalton, Surrey:

Thomas Goodson, JP, Head of Family, 43, living on own means, Margaret Goodson, Wife, 36, and their four daughters, Amy (10), Hilda (9), Mabel (8), and Nina Goodson (3), all born in Carshalton, Surrey, and eight servants; for further details, see her father.

Marriage and family

In 1915 at St Pancras, London, she married Edward I Lickfold.

World War I

She was probably the Mrs Margaret Amy Lickfold, of 82 Scott's Lane Beckenham, who was Lardermaid for the British Red Cross from Oct 1917 to July 1918, during World War I.[1]
