Sir James Gordon of Park, 2nd Baronet [1]
Sir James Gordon was born after 1686 in Park, Banffshire, Scotland and was christened 15 June 1687 at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[2]
His father was Sir John Gordon of Park, the first Baronet. His mother was Helen Ogilvy. They were married about 1686. with a marriage contract of 3 March 1686.[2]
Sir James married in 1709 his first wife Helen Fraser, the first daughter of William Fraser, Lord Saltoun and Margaret Sharpe, daughter of James Sharpe, Archbishop of St. Andrews.[3][2] The children of Sir James and Helen were:[2]
Sir James married about 1720 his second wife, Margaret Elphinstone, widow of George, Count Leslie, of Balquhain, daughter of John Elphinstone, 8th Lord Elphinstone by Isabel daughter of Charles Maitland, 3rd Earl of Lauderdale.[3] [2] The children of Sir James and Margaret were:[2]
After Sir James' father died February 1713, Sir James inherited the title of Baronet on 19 October 1713 when it became official.
Sir James died of apoplexy at Pool Wells, on the way to Aberdeen, 15 December 1727[3]

"Sir James Gordon, Baronet [S. 1686], of Park, s. and h., by 4th wife, suc. to the Baronetcy in Feb., and had spec, service to his father 28 April 1713. He executed an entail of the Barony of Park on 19 Oct. following. He m. firstly, Helen, 1st da. of William (Fraser), Lord Saltoun [S.], by Margaret, da. of James Sharpe, Archbishop of St. Andrews. He m. secondly, about 1720, Margaret, widow of George, Count Leslie, of Balquhain, da. of John (Elphinstone), 8th Lord Elphinstone [S.], by Isabel, da. of Charles (Maitland), 3d Earl of Lauderdale [S.]. He d. of apoplexy at Pool Wells, on the way to Aberdeen, 15 Dec. 1727. His widow m. John Fullerton, of Dudwick."
