Biography

Gladys Gordon was born 26 May 1905 Montgomery County, Georgia, the daughter of John William Ira Gordon and Alviney 'Minnie' Holmes Gordon[1]. In 1910[2][3] and 1920 she lived in Long Pond, Montgomery County, Georgia with her parents and siblings.

She married William Edward Wood. In 1930 they lived in Glenville, Tattnall County, Georgia[4]. By 1940 they were living in Pembroke, Bryan County, Georgia[5].

She was mentioned on her brother Otis's obituary in 1988[6].

She died 5 March 1998[7] and was buried in Moseley Cemetery, Uvalda, Montgomery County, Georgia[1].
