George Gordon under Col. Thomas Brandon after the fall of Charleston. Unit and dates unknown.[1]
George's brother, Thomas, was a Major in Brandon's Regiment and his brothers William and Gavin were Captains. [2]
In 1803 George Gordon purchased property in Saint Helena Parish, Spanish West Florida[3]
and it was listed as settled in 1807.[4]
The Gordon farm was located south of the Mississippi state line and east of the Tickfaw River.[5]
