In 1857 Emma was born in Congleton [1]
In 1871 Emma was 14, single, a cotton winder living with her widowed mother Hannah and her siblings Eliza and Thomas in Congleton [2]
Emma married Edward Cartlidge in St Stephen.s Congleton in 1879[3]
In 1891 she and Edward are living in Congleton with 3 young sons and a daughter[4]
In 1911 she and Edward living with 3 of their children in Astbury [5]
She died in 1935 in Congleton [6]
