Biography

Beatrix was born in 1509. Beatrix is the child of Adam Gordon and Elizabeth de Moravia. A merge is needed between de Moravia-13 and Sutherland-1033.

Daughter of Adam Gordon, Earl of Huntley and Elizabeth, Countess of Sutherland [1]

Beatrix Gordon married John Butter 5th of Gormack, and died between September 1577 and April 1581. [2]

Beatrix and John were the parents of

  1. Archibald Butter, 6th of Gormack [2]
  2. Patrick Butter of Caillie who married Isabella Rossy daughter of David Rossy of that Ilk in 1577 [2]
  3. Thomas Butter of Kilmavoulin [2]
  4. Margaret who married Andrew Blair of Ardblair [2]
  5. Elizabeth who married, firstly, Patrick Stewart of Ballechin, and secondly, Patrick Ogilvy of Inchmartin (widower of Marjory Gray) [2]

Gordon-20889 and Gordon-4575 appear to represent the same person because: They both have the same parents. If I had seen Gordon-4575 before, I would had added sources and biography there.
