  10. Hackley Warren, born 1772 in South Carolina; died 1861 in Mississippi; married Mary Graves 1819 in Covington County, Mississippi.

Lott Warren made his will on 16 June 1798, in Lincoln County, GA, and it was recorded the same day. The appraisal of his estate was completed on 29 June 1798. His widow, Rebecca, survived him.

In 1805 she was in Franklin County, GA, where she was taxed 93 ½ cents in Capt. Henry's District, they were taxed next to James Gordin, on the Huston River. Nearby was Thomas Gordin, whose land adjoined that of Landers and Obediah Kendricks, on the Huston River.

Rebecca was in Franklin County, GA, 29 June 1809. Joseph Warren applied for a passport for himself and his mother to go to Mississippi. "Rebecca Warren, with her family have lived in this county for several years. They have behaved themselves & been good citizens and have a mind to travel to Natches Country. Joseph son to Rebecca has been gone from this county for two years and has come from the Natches to assist his Mother and family to said Natches Country. Becky (Rebecca), Elizabeth & Hannah named to travel." [1]

On Friday, 1st of September 1809 - On the recommendation of a number of respectable citizens of this state

ORDERED
That a Passport be prepared as after mentioned, to wit - One for Rebecca Warren and her family- one for Thomas Gordon and his family, and one for Edmund Logwood and Stephen S. Poore
which were presented and signed (423) [2]

Rebecca Warren and most of her children eventually lived in Covington County, MS. She paid tax in Covington County on four Negroes for several years after 1820.
