She married Alexander Simpson in Bathurst in 1884. They had five children:

Margaret F (16620/1887),
Anastasia P (7622/189 ) in the Bourke and Bathurst regions.
Margaret passed away in 1930. The Western Herald obituary (1 April 1930) for Margaret records her children as Mrs A Major, Mrs EG Johnstone Miss R Simpson and Mr R Simpson.
