Biography

Margaret (Gorman) Simpson was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
  • She married Alexander Simpson in Bathurst in 1884. They had five children:
    • Ruby M (7481/1893),
    • Rupert C (7165/1894),
    • Mary G S (13762/1884),
    • Margaret F (16620/1887),
    • Anastasia P (7622/189 ) in the Bourke and Bathurst regions.
  • Margaret passed away in 1930. The Western Herald obituary (1 April 1930) for Margaret records her children as Mrs A Major, Mrs EG Johnstone Miss R Simpson and Mr R Simpson.
