Biography

European Aristocracy
Sir Henry Gough was a member of the aristocracy in England.
Henry was a Georgia Trustee.

MP for Totnes (1732-4), for Bramber, (1734-41). On 26 April 1728 he was created 1st Baronet; of Edgbaston Hall, Edgbaston, Warwickshire.

Background

He was the son and heir of Sir Richard, Kt, Merchant, of London. He was born on 9 March 1708-9.

Education

Cambridge University Alumni, 1261-1900 Name: Henry Gough College: CORPUS CHRISTI Information: Adm Fell-Com. at CORPUS CHRISTI, 1 Nov 1725.

Admitted at the Middle Temple, 5 May 1725.

Death and burial

He died on 8 June 1774 He was buried at Edgbaston.
