David Gould [1][2][3]was born on 25 December 1701 in Topsfield, Essex, Massachusetts Bay. [4][5][6][7]

David moved to Lunenburg, Massachusetts in 1727.[8]

David married Abigail Dodge of Beverly on 10 August 1726.[9]

David and Abigail were married in Beverly, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay. [citation needed]

David and Abigail had the following children:

  1. Abigail b. 7 February 1727 Topfield
  2. Rebecca b. 25 March 1728 Lunnenburg
  3. Solomon b. 15 December 1730 Lunnenburg
  4. Joseph b. 18 January 1732-33 Lunnenburg
  5. Edmund b. 18 January 1735;
  6. Sarah b. 1736 September: m. Solomon Rood in Amherst
  7. David (?) Noah, bapt. 21 August 1737
  8. John b. 8 December 1745 [10]

He was in 1737, a large land owner in Lunenburg, but his life seems to have been chiefly passed in Sunderland and Leverett, Massachusetts. [11]

David seems to have lived in Sunderland, Massachusetts from 1753 to 1763, after which he moved to Amherst, Massachusetts.[12]

David passed away after 1763 in Amherst, Hampshire, Massachusetts.[13]
