Biography

John Lyle Gould was born in March 25, 1935, to Lyle Dean and Jessie B (Wilk) Gould, in Galesburg, Illinois. He and his wife, Hsueh (Shay) Lee, were married in 1961, and had three children: Connie B. Loessburg Bevill (8/5/1962), Andrew Lyle Gould (10/12/63), and Robert J. Gould (8/26/65). John was career military, retiring in Austin, Texas after 20 years of service in the Air Force. He spent the remainder of his career at IBM. John passed away in 2002 in Plano Texas, and was buried in Austin, Texas.
