Samuel was born in Topsfield, Massachusetts, in the spring sf 1669/70, to John Gould and Sarah Baker.[1][2] He married Margaret Stone, daughter of Daniel Stone and Patience Goodwin, in the spring of 1697.[3][4][5]
The couple settled in Boxford and had eight known children:
1712->1755: Margaret, m. William Foster, 1744, no children[8]
1715-1745: Zaccheus, never married
1720-1800: Hubbard, m. 1st Hannah Bootman, 1744; m. 2nd Mary Jones, 1759; m. 3rd Thankful Bowles, 1783[9]
Margaret died in 1721, and Samuel followed her three years later in December 1724. Their burial details are unknown.
