Biography

Thomas Gould was born on March 11, 1700 in Southborough, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of John Gould (1671 - 1745) and Sarah (Unknown) Gould (~1675 - ). [1] [2]

Thomas married Ruth Wyman (1697 - ) on 1 Aug 1721 in Charlestown, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. [2]

Their children were:

  1. Phebe (Gould) Bucknam, b. 1723.
  2. Thomas Gould Jr., b. 1726.
  3. Mary (Gould) Claflin, b. about 1731.

Thomas married, second, Hannah Marsties in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts on March 6, 1746. [2]

They had:

  1. Jonathan Gould, b. Feb. 5, 1749,[2] d. Oct. 30 1781.[2]

Thomas died in 1768 in Worcester aged ~68.
