I have removed the parents. I will leave the Biography for you to take care of as I do not know anything about that, other than that if that is their names it is just a coincidence- thats all:) Thanks for your help.

I do not know where these parents came from or who entered them here. I have no evidence of Jane's parents. Although Ancestry has a reference of her being buried in Carver, Mass. there is no further documentation and her husband Roger is said to have died in 1644 in England. I believe these parents should be removed.

The only correct child for Jane Allen and Patrick MacGowan is Philip Gowan, who like his father, was born in Ireland. To see the correct information please see Allen-36891, MacGowan-153 and Gowan-371. Philip married Rose Dillon (Dillon-3684). Their son Thomas Gowan Gowan-370 married Mary St.Leger-199. Their son Thomas Gowan-103 married Anne Cootes-65. Their son was John Gowan-357 who married Martha Hunter-13597 were my 6th great grandparents. The Gowan family has been mistakenly linked to this tree through an auto-generated gedcom error which I am trying to iron out. It looks like the false entry occurred either here at Gowan-1 or Cowan-371. Once I have determined the extent of the misinformation I can begin to disentangle the errors that have been made, in the mean time I will add the correct profile numbers to each profile. I am not sure how to go about unmerging...guess I will have to look into it...sigh.

Something not right here... was she on the Mayflower? She'd have to have been if she died in 1620 in Massachusetts... specifically Carver? We're going to need some better source info on this profile!

Gowan-72 and Gowan-1 appear to represent the same person because: Appear to be the same person.
