Notes: {Born in 1727 in Germany in some records?] Marriage date from Rev. Casper Stoever's church records.. Sister of Elizabeth Ann Graff, wife of Martin's brother 02 Hans Peter Eisenhauer, making any off-spring double cousins. They were daughters of Catherine & Hans George Graff (Graef), shop keeper, of Lancaster Co. Penn. Had two brothers named George [m. Catherine] and Michael Graff. Family legend has it that some time after Martin's death, Anna Barbara, joined a group of settlers emigrating into the Lyles Creek Community, Lincoln Co. N.C. including George Martin, John Peter and John Valentine. It is said that several older children stayed behind in Penn. She was reportedly killed by an Indian woman in an argument as she was carrying water from a spring.

After her death, the three older surviving sons settled on the three branches of Lyles Creek, Lincoln Co. (now Cataba Co.) near Conover, 12 miles south of Hickory, N. C. Land purchases by this family are nunerously mentioned in land title abstracts of Lincoln Co.
