Biography

Henry Gregg was born on May 25, 1792, in Greene County, Tennessee, USA. His father was Patriot Samuel Gragg and his mother was Jane Ann Black. He served in the War of 1812 in the Tenn Militia 18 Oct 1813-19 Feb 1814 under Cpt Flemming Hodges, and 28 Sep 1814-27 Mar 1815 under Cpt Hugh Carris. He married Mary Murrell Gregg on 1 June 1815, in Limestone County, Alabama, USA. He passed April 28, 1877, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, having lived a long life of 84 years.[1][2] [3][4][5]
