Elender Gragg was born on June 29, 1818, in Greene County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Malcolm Gragg and Rebecca Broadhurst. was married first to George W Cowan (1810–1846) 16 Dec 1841, in Van Buren, Cass County, Missouri; second to James Roberts (1802–1855) 6 June 1848, in Howard County, Missouri; and third to Job Crabtree (1820–1861 ) abt 1856 (possibly Kansas). She passed on January 5, 1896, in Cherokee County, Kansas, USA, having lived a long life of 77 years. ^[1][2][3][4]
