Biography

Arthur was born about 1719 (estimated)[1] either in Ulster, Ireland or in New Hampshire.

He met and married Eleanor Scott in 1746.[2] They had 6 children: Jenit, William, Samuel, Eleanor, Jane and Janet. Two of the children, Jenit age 7 and Samuel age 4, died 15 Aug 1754 and are buried at Hill Cemetery, Londonderry.[3]

In 1755 and in 1758,[4] Arthur of Londonderry bought property in Londonderry.

On 10 Mar 1759 Eleanor Graham of Londonderry, his widow, received the administration of his estate.[5] In 1778, Eleanor, widow of Arthur Graham[6] sold a portion of his property to three daughters: Janet Rickey, Eleanor Eastman, Jane Graham.

An Arthur Graham of Windham may or may not be the same person. He is living at the same time, but his address is Windham. He bought property in Nottingham West in 1747[7] and then sold a portion of that property[8] two years later. In 1755[9] he sold properties, one in both in Windham and in Londonderry.
