Shawn Michael Graham was the premier of New Brunswick, Canada, from 2006 to 2010.
Born in 1968 in Rexton, he is the son of Kent County, New Brunswick MLA Alan Graham and Sharon Crothers. He holds a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of New Brunswick and a bachelor's degree in education from St. Thomas University.
After university, he worked for the provincial civil service. When his father resigned his seat in the legislature in 1998, Graham replaced him in a by-election. He became provincial Liberal leader in 2001 and premier in 2006 after his party won the election with a platform pledging to focus on energy, education and the economy. He was awarded a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) from the University of New Brunswick in 2009. After losing the 2010 election, he resigned as party leader but remained as MLA of Kent riding until 2013. He left politics after a conflict of interest scandal involving a cabinet decision to provide funds to a company with ties to his father.
In 2023, he was president and CEO of G&R Holdings Ltd., on the board of several companies, and a member of the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Business advisory board.
