Biography
Mary Ann, daughter of Barton Graham and sister to Richard was born in 1821 in Bertie Twp. and raised in Niagara. She married Philow Belfry on October 25, 1840 after "They became acquainted in Bradford. They were both of the Methodist persuasion." After marriage they lived n-w of Bradford in West Gwillimbury Twp., Simcoe County. They moved to Nottawasaga Twp. and stayed for 7 yr, 3 mo. Moved to Clinton village, Huron County but left in July 1871 for the town of Guelph in Wellington County. She died there in 1878. [1] Her son James, husband Philow and Hannah Turk are buried together with Mary Ann (buried April 27, 1878, Block E, Lot 46, Area 96). Kelly-5367 12:02, 19 September 2014 (EDT)
