Everett Glen Graham (1909 - 1981)

Everett Glen Graham was born on Jan. 6, 1909, at Cameron, Missouri, the son of Thomas and Lillian Leona Rounds Graham. He died Aug, 6, 1981, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital, at the age of 72.

Everett moved with his family to Iowa when he was nine years old. They made their home in the Deloit community, where he received his formal education.

On Jan. 31, 1935, Everett was united in marriage to Marion Comstock at Deloit. Together they made their home in Denison where Everett was employed, and owned various businesses. For many years he was known for his shoe repair business. At the time of his death he was operating his shoe business at his home.

In addition to his parents, Everett was preceded in death by three brothers, Gordon, Mearl and Earl.

Survivors include his wife, Marion of Denison; one daughter, Bonnie (Mrs. Ed) Frazier of Deloit; two sons, Donald of Manning, and Everett Allen and his future wife Terri Jansen of Manilla. Also by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother Bus of Independence, Mo., and three sisters, Lola (Mrs. Bill) Petersen of Denison, Verna (Mrs. Tom) Graham and Mrs. Inez Hansen both of Independence, Mo.

Funeral services were Aug. 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. Burial was in Crawford Heights Memory Gardens at Denison. Elder John Jones officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Jim Graham, Jack Wolfe, Ersdel Graham, Jim Petersen, Max Graham and Fred Bachman. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Huebner Funeral Home of Denison.
