In 1871, 3 year old George Brown Graham was living with his parents, George and Syndrilla Graham, and siblings at Pickering in Ontario South. His father George was a blacksmith.[1]
George's mother died in 1875 and his father remarried prior to the next census. In 1881 the family were still residents of Pickering and George Sr was employed as a blacksmith.[2]
