"He served his country in the US Army and was a member of the Boilermakers Local Union #450 in Nederland for sixty five years, worked and retired as an Operator, and was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church of Vidor.
He is survived by his daughters; Margaret Pate, Harriet Cary, Carole DeCuir, Marsha Riddle, Linda Mansfield and Jeanie Pedigo, brothers Lonnie Granger and Wallace Granger, sisters Vera Beard and Vernie Granger of California; fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great Grandchildren."
