Biography
Hannah Abigail Grant was born on September 19, 1874 in Linwood, Anoka, Minnesota.[1] She was the daughter of John Grant and Mary Ann (Horton) Grant[2] who were both from England. She spent her early years in Linwood, Anooka, Minnesota, where in 1880 at age 5, she was in her parent's home along with 4 of her siblings.[3]
At age 20, she was living in Linwood Twp., Anoka, Minnesota with her parent's.[4]
Hannah Married Reuben C. Ridge (1868-1922) December 13, 1896 in Anoka, Minnesota.[5] The couple had 5 children:
- Lottie Mauded Ridge (1896-1992)
- Arthur Reuben Ridge (1898-1983)
- Mary Abbie Ridge (1900-1989)
- Henry W. Ridge (1905-1991)
- Jessie E Ridge(1909-1989)
They lived in Linwood Twp., Aoka, Minnesota in 1900. Hannah (age 25) was taking care of the home and children, Lottie-4, and Arthur-2, and Reugen was a Farmer.[6]
On 25 April 1910 Hannah (age 35) was living in Linwood Twp, Anoka, Minnesota. By then Mary, Henry and Jessie had been born and were in the home with the other children.[7]
Hannah died at the age of 43 on May 22, 1917 in Anoka County, Minnesota[2] and was buried in the Linwood Township Cemetery in Linwood, Anoka, Minnesota. [1]
